A North Wilkesboro woman has been arrested on multiple felony charges, accused of stealing money from her Boone area attorney employer.
Krista Ruann Lambert, age 42 of North Wilkesboro, has been charged with four felony counts of embezzlement and two counts of felony financial transaction card fraud. Lambert, in her former position of office manager for Turner Law Office, allegedly wrote multiple checks against the firm’s operating account and made various credit card charges using the firm’s business credit cards, all unauthorized and for personal purposes.
Lambert was arrested on Wednesday, April 26th, and was released on a $10,000 secured bond with a June 1st, 2017 court date.
