Monday March 23 Watauga & Statewide COVID-19 Testing Data

The number of COVID-19 tests administered by AppHealthCare on Monday March 23rd was 4, the agency announced in the afternoon.

The number reported to them from outside agencies to date is 91 for Watauga. As of 4:45 pm on Monday the positive case count remained at 2.

To date, AppHealthCare has administered 62 COVID-19 tests for Watauga County. They began testing March 11th. The outside agencies that are reporting to AppHealthCare includes local healthcare providers, urgent care facilities and ARHS.

Meanwhile statewide, the positive results increased to 297 and completed test were 8,498 – both figures were as of 3:00 pm Monday, according to NC Department of Health and Human Services.
