Flagging/lane closures today on 321 in Blowing Rock from Greenhill Road to Rocky Knob Road. Expect delays.
Tuesday March 14
5:55am – No reported travel issues related to weather so far this morning.
Due to overnight wintry weather and current wintry weather conditions, various limited construction operations will continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock; however, no flagging/lane closures are scheduled today.
Wednesday March 15
5:55am – Blowing Rock PD has shut down top of mountain 321 S due to ICE. Both directions.

Expect slick conditions this morning. Wind gust near 50mph in Boone and wind chills around -8 degrees.
9:34am – Travel conditions continue to deteriorate this morning. Recommended to stay off roads if possible.
Highway 321 is back open.
