10:49am – Storm debris removal on Boone Mtn/Hwy 421 Vilas. Expect delays.
4:24pm – Expect possible delays at 105 and Clarks Creek Road due to wreck.

With all travel lanes open in AREA I, limited construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock, from Tanger Outlets to Blowing Rock Furniture Galleries. A Lane closure for northbound traffic is in place from Sunset Dr to Possum Hollow Rd for backfilling curb and sidewalk preparation operations. No other construction operations resulting in significant impacts to travel are currently scheduled today.
5:33pm – Traffic down to one lane near the S curve on 194 between Valle Crucis and Matney due to wreck.
Thursday July 14
Northbound lane closure on 321 in Blowing Rock from Sunset Dr to Possum Hollow Rd.
10:20am – Getting report of two wrecks on 321 on the Caldwell side going up/down the mountain. Significant delays are expected.
10:57am – Accident in the area of Enterprise/105 is causing Traffic to back up in the area. Emergency Personnel are on scene.
Friday July 15
Northbound lane closure on 321 in Blowing Rock from Sunset Dr to Possum Hollow Rd.
UPDATE: Possible flagging operations are now scheduled on 321 in Blowing Rock from Green Park Inn to Cone Orchard Rd. Flaggers may be used throughout the day, as needed, to assist construction vehicles entering/exiting the work area from just south of Greenhill Rd to Blackberry Condos. While significant impacts to traffic are not expected, motorists are encouraged to slow down and remain alert when traveling to/through this area of the project.
