The High Country is in line to receive heavy rain starting as early as Sunday night. The National Weather Service forecast 1 to 3 inches along most areas west of the Blue Ridge mountains with 3-5 inches possible in some areas. Flash Flood Watches are expected to be issues maybe as early as Sunday night.
