A house under construction is a total loss after a fire over the weekend.
Early Saturday morning, March 1st, Watauga County Communications received a structure fire call at the 5000 block of Reynolds Parkway, according to Kristi Pukansky with Watauga County Emergency Services.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Stewart Simmons, Blowing Rock, Watauga Medics, Watauga Rescue, and Watauga County Emergency Services all responded to the scene.
Due to low humidity and current weather conditions, burning is not advised at this time.
