Boone, NC – On January 28, 2025, Watauga Medics, Boone Fire, Watauga County Rescue Squad and the Boone Police Department responded to 188 Herring Loop, Apartment 106, in reference to a 57 year old male in cardiac arrest.
After lifesaving efforts were performed, Billy Corwin Pearson was determined to be deceased. Boone Police Department detectives responded to the scene and a criminal investigation is active at this time. There is no suspicion of foul play.
