Boone Police charged David Wayne Pennington, age 48, of Boone, NC with one count of Assault by Strangulation and one count of Assault on a Female.
Mr. Pennington is alleged to have committed the assaults during a domestic disturbance. Mr. Pennington was arrested by the Boone Police Department and taken before a Watauga County Magistrate, where he was placed under a domestic violence hold and assigned a court date of December 18th, 2012.
