A donation of turkeys to all Blowing Rock employees for Thanksgiving recently happened.
“We'd like to thank Brandon Walker for generously donating turkeys to all of the Blowing Rock employees for Thanksgiving – and even delivered them to us in the snow!”, the Town of Blowing Rock posted on Facebook. “We are very grateful and thankful to serve Blowing Rock.”, the post also noted.
In making the delivery last Thursday Walker stated, “Dear Blowing Rock Employees and Staff,
Thank you for everything you do for the Town and residents each year – and the assistance and support you provided and continue to provide to the many devasted by Hurricane Helene. Each of you go above and beyond…these turkeys are a small gesture of thanks.
