An Avery County Schools activity bus was involved in a collision on Tuesday morning.
The minor accident occurred on Highway 105 on Rock Crusher Hill at approximately 9:15 am, according to scanner dispatches at the time and a social media post by Avery County Schools.
The bus was transporting students to Watauga County, there were no injuries to students or staff. The Avery County School System made all necessary provisions for transportation to their destination in Boone.
