2:49pm- Report of wildfire burning on the side of a embankment right beside the road on 421 just past the turn onto the Parkway to Wilkesboro
4:56pm- crews continue to battle the fire with at least one structure being threaten.
5:16pm – Fire crews working off of Stoney Fork Road getting water to use on fire, use caution in that area too
