A Wilkes County school bus received substantial damage in a collision with a flatbed truck late Thursday afternoon, but no injuries were reported
According to the Wilkes Journal Patriot about 32 students from North Wilkes Middle School and North Wilkes High School were on bus 108.
The paper reports that “people at the scene said the truck had just left Old Roaring River Baptist Church on the south side of Longbottom Road and was being used for a burial in the nearby church cemetery on the north side of the road when the bus collided with the right side of the truck.”
