White House Christmas Tree Departs High Country

The official White House Christmas tree was cut Saturday morning and is now on it's way to Washington D.C.

According to North Carolina Christmas Tree Association facebook page it will be presented to the first lady on Friday morning. The 18.5′ North Carolina Fraser fir will be placed in the Blue Room of the White House. The trees comes from Peak Farms in West Jefferson North Carolina.
