Infrastructure projects
- Laurel Lane sidewalks: Work paused this week so Public Works could repair stormwater pipes and a sewer line. Crews also found and repaired a crushed sewer line, extending the work beyond the expected timeframe. Public Works staff worked into Tuesday evening to finish the repairs and reopen the road. The town plans to patch the two affected roadway areas next week, and sidewalk work resumes Monday and is expected to be completed next week.
- Park Avenue waterline replacement: Work remains on schedule for completion by Nov. 13. Crews completed tie-ins and cut-and-cap work and began patching this week, and asphalt work will be finished next week.
- BRAHM parking deck: Repairs began as scheduled on Monday, Nov. 2. Additional work to address spalling concrete was approved this week while the deck is closed. All repairs are still expected to be completed within the original 7–10-day timeframe.
- Clary Court sidewalks: Work is more than 50% complete. The full tentative schedule has been published, with Phase 4 scheduled to be poured on Nov. 12.
- Morris Street sidewalks (upcoming): The contractor is scheduled to work Nov. 11 while school is out. Additional dates will be shared as the schedule is finalized.
