Watauga County Sheriff’s Deputy Responds To Mountain City Tennessee Shooting On Thursday

A Watauga County Sheriff's Deputy responded to assist law enforcement officials in Johnson County, TN during a shooting on Thursday.

According to Watauga County Sheriff Len Hagaman,  a deputy responded to the area of Hwy 91 just north of Mountain City, TN for a possible active shooter situation with multiple victims. When the deputy arrive to a staging area for law enforcement and EMS, near Johnson County High School, the active shooter incident had been downgraded to a domestic dispute with shots fired. The Watauga deputy proceeded back to Watauga since no further assistance was needed.

Shots were fired at a home on McElyea Road, drugs and a car were seized in the incident and a child in the home was also placed with Child Protective Services, according to WJHL TV 11.

Arrested were James Edward Osborne, Brad Price, Jessica Falin and Joshua Carrilo
