Motorist traveling on highway 321 on Saturday afternoon, near the Watauga/Caldwell line, encountered delays due to a van fire. The incident around 2:30pm occurred just before the county line coming up the mountain. No details were available from NCSHP on Sunday, more information as it becomes available on Monday.
