Residents and visitors are urged to allow plenty of extra travel time as what is considered by many to be the single busiest traffic weekend for the High Country is here.
The Valle Fair in Valle Crucis, the Woolly Worm Festival in Banner Elk, and leaf lookers will once again bring an influx of motorist into the area all at the same time. There is not an ASU home football game this weekend, as that schedule tends to rotate each year.
Best advice for motorist is to leave for your destination early, expect possible traffic tie ups, and allow plenty of time to get to your destination.
@RadioMediaGuy You guys feeling a #shutdown impact?
