For a month that is typically right in the heart of winter, more Spring-like conditions will be the weather story this coming week.
Forecast highs for the entire week will likely be the warmest for a February 20-24 in at least 12 years. According to the National Weather Service, forecast highs for Monday through Friday will be in the lower to mid 60s, which should send several days into the Top 5 warmest for their corresponding date.
Below are the highest temperatures for Boone at any point between Feb 20-24 since 2015. 2012 and 2005 recorded back to back days of 60 degree plus, but through the time period there has not been three or more days breaking into the 60s.
