…A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of
central Wilkes, southeastern Watauga and south central Ashe Counties
through 345 PM EDT…
At 315 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Darby, or 8 miles south of Deep Gap, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD…Winds in excess of 30 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
