This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina, northwest North Carolina, southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West Virginia.

.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are forecasted to enter the region late Monday night, and redevelop during Tuesday afternoon and evening. These storms will have the potential of producing frequent lightning, damaging winds, and heavy downpours that may result in localized flash flooding.

Spotter activation may be needed on Monday night and Tuesday.
