Winter weather returns to the High Country for Friday and the weekend. Snow, sleet, and freezing rain are all possible across the area starting on Friday morning. A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect at 10:00am on Friday morning.
NCDOT began brining operations on Thursday in anticipation of the pending weather. Below is a video update and graphic from the National Weather Service outlining the possibilities for the mountains.
