The Town of Boone Public Works Department will begin construction of the Leola Street Sidewalk/Side path Project on Monday May 16, 2016. The project area will be between the Greenway Road/ Meadowview Drive intersection and the intersection of Pride Drive. Anticipate closure to thru-traffic between the hours of 6:00am and 2:30pm Monday through Friday. Watauga Village Shopping Center visitors will need to access the shopping center via the Blowing Rock Road/Highway 321 entrance. This project is scheduled to be completed by mid-June 2016.
