2:48pm – Avery, Ashe Watauga, Western Burke and Caldwell counties will be upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning shortly.
3:05pm – Avery County has been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning starting at 7am Sunday morning.
4:36pm – Watauga & Ashe have been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning starting at midnight tonight
