This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.

Prolonged periods of heavy rainfall and localized flash flooding
will be possible across the mountains and foothills of northwest
North Carolina into western Virginia. Rainfall amounts in excess of
5 inches will be possible along the crest of the Blue Ridge in
northwest North Carolina, which may result in flooding of creeks and
streams.
