This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, southwest Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.
.DAY ONEā¦This afternoon and tonight.
There is a Marginal Risk for Excessive Rainfall today for the
possibility of slow-moving storms capable of producing high rainfall
rates that may result in localized flash flooding, especially in poor
drainage areas.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVENā¦Tuesday through Sunday.
A few storms developing on Tuesday may be capable of producing
damaging wind gusts, large hail, and heavy downpours that can result
in localized flooding.
