northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia and west central Virginia.
.DAY ONE…Today and tonight.
Flash flooding is possible today and into tonight due to repeated
showers and thunderstorms. Recent heavy rainfall in these areas
amplifies the threat for flash flooding.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.
A prolonged period of scattered showers and thunderstorms Tuesday
may result in localized flooding.
