Crews were dispatched around 9 pm to 330 Castle Lane, where a fire in a large outbuilding full of equipment broke out. Taylor Marsh, Watauga County Fire Marshal, tells WataugaOnline.com that the building was used as a home repair business.

The homeowner was at home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. Marsh added that heavy equipment was called in to help with suppression efforts due to the large amount of equipment inside the building.  The fire is still under investigation.

Zionville Fire, Cove Creek Fire, Beaver Dam Fire, Watauga Fire Marshal’s Office, Watauga Medics, Watauga County Rescue and Watauga County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene.
