Locally dense fog at the higher elevations is to be expected, according to the National Weather Service. Travelers are urged to use caution, slow down and allow more time to get to your destination. Visibility under a quarter mile includes areas around the Blue Ridge Parkway in the High Country. Areas outside of the High Country also include I77 Near Fancy Gap and between Wytheville, and in southwest Virginia.
