A Monday morning stabbing in a section of Valle Crucis has resulted in an arrest.
Watauga County Sheriff Deputies responded to an address on Leslie Lane after receiving a call stating that her son had stabbed her and walked out of the home.
A Deputy located the male and detained him shortly on arrival to the scene, according to the Sherrif's report. The female was transported to Watauga Medical Center (WMC) with non-life-threatening injuries.
The male was transported by a Deputy to WMC and was treated for an injury on his hand. He was later transported to the magistrate’s office and served with a warrant for Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill.
