Those in downtown Boone on Thursday, may have spotted Melissa Etheridge alongside the statue of Doc Watson.
In a tweet the two time Grammy Award winner appeared to be enjoying her visit.
Etheridge, along with Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, perform at the Holmes Center on Friday night.
