Governor Pat McCrory has ordered all United States and North Carolina flags at State facilities to be immediately lowered to half-staff through sunset on Tuesday, July 12. This order honors the life and service of the Dallas Police Department officers who were killed on July 7, 2016 in Dallas, TX.
“Ann and I are heartbroken after the terrible tragedy in Dallas. Our prayers go out to our dedicated law enforcement officers across our nation and our state who risk their lives every day to protect and serve. During times like this, we must all come together and support one another in our communities,” said Governor McCrory.
