Friday, June 30
Trinity Baptist Church in Deep Gap, 7186 old NC Hwy 421 S, Event starts at 6:30 with food games and fireworks by Perennial Pyrotechnics.
Saturday, July 1 – Town of Blowing Rock Festival. This year’s parade is scheduled for Saturday, July 1st at 10 AM. The parade line up will begin at 8:30 AM. All participants must be lined up by no later than 9:30 AM.
Schedule as follows:
9:00am- Surefire Bluegrass Band
11:00am- The Cockman Family
12:30pm- Horseshoe Tournament (18+) Prizes Awarded
and Soulution Band: Park Dance
1:00pm- Park Games
Saturday, July 1 – Town of Newland Parade 10am.
Saturday, July 1 – Town of Beech Mountain Tail Gate Family Day @ Buckeye Recreation Center starting at 10:00 a.m. with a Sparkler Fun Run 5K. Call 828-387-3003 for more details
Tuesday, July 4 – Fish for free in North Carolina's public waters. More information at this link.
Tuesday, July 4 – Town of Boone
July 4th parade will step off at 11:00 a.m., from the County Social Services parking lot, heading east down King St., continuing to the light at Earth Fare.
Following the parade, cake and watermelon will be served at the Jones House, and the inaugural Town of Boone 1872 Award will be presented to Renee Boughman.
In the evening, the community is welcome to gather at Clawson-Burnley Park to enjoy the space before the annual Fourth of July Fireworks display, which will start around 9:15 p.m.
Tuesday, July 4 – Banner Elk parade begins at 11 a.m. followed by the party in the park and duck races.
Tuesday, July 4 – Beech Mountain Parks and Recreation Presents: Water Party, giant slip-N-slide + super soakers= FUN at Bark Park Way Sled Hill from 12-3 p.m.
Tuesday, July 4 – Bluegrass and Brass: Mountain Home Music July 4th Celebration
7PM – The Mountain Home Bluegrass Boys and King Street Brass
