The Town of Boone is pleased to announce the 2026 Summer Concerts at the Jones House, continuing a cherished tradition of free, live music in the heart of downtown Boone.
Presented by the Town of Boone and sponsored by the Downtown Boone Development Association (DBDA), Omega Tees Screen Printing and Embroidery, Mast General Store, ECRS, Melanie's Food Fantasy, and Stick Boy Bread Company, the concert series will once again showcase an eclectic mix of local and regional musicians throughout the summer season.
The series runs from June 5 through August 28, with concerts beginning at 5:30 PM each Friday on the Jones House lawn.
Note: The Boonerang and Doc Watson Day concerts will begin at 5:00 PM to accommodate extended artist lineups.
Spanning genres from bluegrass and old-time to jazz, folk, and Americana, the 2026 season highlights the depth and diversity of the High Country’s roots music community and beyond.
“We love being able to bring free live music to the community each summer,” says Brandon Holder, Cultural Resources Coordinator for the Town of Boone. “It’s a great way to support local artists and create a welcoming space for folks to gather and enjoy downtown Boone.”
