An area youth is recovering after an accidental shooting on Christmas Eve. Sheriff Len Hagaman tells WataugaRoads.com/WataugaOnline.com that the incident happen at 123 Old Chigger Trail. The 8 year old male was hospitalized after being struck by pellets fired from a shotgun.
In an update on Sunday, Sheriff Hagaman says that the boy is okay and recovering.
