Old Man Winter will not totally let go of his impact on the High Country for this winter season. Following the round of snow and cold on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week we are in line for another round of snow and high winds.
Watauga could possibly set a new record for snowfall amounts for March 30. The current records are 3.5 in 1964, 2.0 also in 1964 and half an inch in Blowing Rock in 1950.
With high winds in the forecast it's also advised to prepare in the event of power outages and charge up your mobile devices as well ahead of time.
