The High Country is under a Flash Flood Watch until late Wednesday night.
According to the National Weather Service several rounds of heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected through Wednesday. Storm total rainfall amounts from 2-3 inches will be common and 4 inches or more is possible near the Blue Ridge the Weather Service adds.
