A Thursday night fire destroyed an abandoned house trailer in Zionville.
The fire, at 1090 Odes Wilson Road, is being ruled as accidental, Watauga County Fire Marshal Taylor Marsh tells WataugaOnline.com.
“There was a small burn pile beside the trailer that we feel accidentally spread to the abandoned building”, Marsh added. Neighbors reported seeing several subjects taking apart the building and then a fire was reported shortly after.
The trailer had been vacant for approximately 15 years and had no power.
