…DENSE FOG ALONG THE BLUE RIDGE…
Fog has developed along I-77 between mile markers 3 and 8.
Observed visibility was a half mile or less. Fog is expected to
restrict the visibility along I-77 just south of Fancy Gap into
the overnight. Visibilities of less than a mile will be common
along the Blue Ridge from Fancy Gap to Blowing Rock, potentially
impacting the Blue Ridge Parkway. In addition low visibility may
also be occurring along Highway 421 near Deep Gap and Highway 321
near Blowing Rock.
For your safety, please adjust your speed based on weather
conditions and ensure your low beam headlights or fog lights are
on.
