High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:
On August 22, 2019, at 1:02 am, the Boone Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 527 Winkler’s Creek Road, a single family, unoccupied dwelling. The structure received extensive damage to the main floor and second floor areas. Dollar loss estimates are in excess of $180,000 for the structure and its contents. Fire Investigators with the Boone Fire Department determined cause of the fire was incendiary in nature, and is currently being investigated jointly by the Boone Police Department and the Boone Fire Department.
