Boone, NC – On Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 6:47 am, Boone Fire and Police personnel, along with Watauga Medics, responded to 141 Health Center Drive for a male suffering a medical emergency.
Responders initiated life-saving measures. The male, identified as forty-four-year-old Timothy Lewis Smith of Boone, could not be revived and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
