Two separate incidents on February 14, 2013, have led to the arrest of six people for various narcotics violations.
The first incident occurred when a citizen observed suspicious activity in the parking lot of a State Farm Road business. Patrol officers, assisted by narcotics investigators, located three people and were able to determine they were in possession of illegal narcotics.

Court Date: March 26, 2013 – $1,000 Secured Bond
In the second incident, officers observed three people purchasing products containing pseudo-ephedrine, a chemical used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, at a Blowing Rock Road business. Patrol and narcotics officers conducted surveillance while the three suspects visited three other stores making additional purchases of other products used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
