The long discussed bypass around Boone is fresh on the minds of High Country officials once again. The idea has been tossed around for many years, but recently talk has once again surfaced on the topic. Now being called the “Daniel Boone Parkway” a recent meeting gave residents a chance to examine the maps and plans first hand.
