It was a beautiful celebration of Earth Day on Monday, April 22 at Blue Ridge Conservancy as community members of all ages volunteered their time to clean up the Conservation Campus.
Over 25 volunteers helped pull weeds, mulch plants, and remove invasive species from the pollinator meadow, remove downed limbs and branches from the trail, and clean Aho Road, BRC’s designated Adopt-A-Highway.
This is the third year the Earth Day Cleanup has kicked off BRC’s hiking series, which features events through October.
