BOONE, N.C. — App State's Sept. 28 home football game against Liberty is officially a sellout.
The matchup between last year’s Sun Belt East Champions and Conference USA Champions will feature two of the nation’s most successful programs in recent years. Since 2019, App State and Liberty are tied for the ninth-most wins among all FBS programs with 47 apiece.
For the third straight season, a Mountaineer home game sold out before single-game tickets went on sale to the general public. The 2022 North Carolina game and 2023 East Carolina games did the same.
App State announced May 21 that football season tickets sold out for the third straight year.
App State students will receive information via their App State student email later this summer about how to reserve tickets for the game. No student guest tickets will be available, in order to allow as many App State students as possible to attend the game.
Other single-game tickets remain available for purchase to Yosef Club members, as seat inventory remains, prior to going on sale to the general public Monday, July 8, at 10 a.m. at appstatesports.com/tickets. There remains a possibility that single-game tickets for some other high-demand game days will not be available to all groups.
Should any Liberty game tickets become available through various returns or special opportunities, App State Athletics will announce that availability at a later date.
Last season, the Mountaineers went 9-5 with a win against Miami (Ohio) in the Cure Bowl. App State fans broke the school and Sun Belt season attendance records at Kidd Brewer Stadium for the third straight year.
