BOONE, N.C. – App State will face Toledo in a future football home-and-home series, the schools announced Tuesday.
App State will host Toledo on Sept. 20, 2025 at Kidd Brewer Stadium in Boone, and the Rockets will host the Mountaineers on Sept. 23, 2028 at the Glass Bowl in Toledo, Ohio.
One of the top programs from the Mid-American Conference, Toledo is a familiar opponent to App State. Two of the Mountaineers’ six bowl wins have come against the Rockets – a 31-28 thriller in the 2016 Camellia Bowl and a 34-0 shutout in the 2017 Dollar General Bowl.
