A 21-year-old-man suffered no injuries in a late Monday night single vehicle wreck on Hardin Street. According to the Boone Police report, the man, from Columbus, NC, was turning left off East King Street onto Hardin Street when the vehicle accelerated causing the rear-end of the vehicle to start sliding, striking a curb and then turning over onto the Daniel Boone Inn property. No charges were filed.
Monday Sept 26 10:33pm – According to a incoming social media report: “car flipped over – tires in the air – mere feet from Boone restaurant. Intersection 321/421 is blocked.”
The accident occurred at the “Greasy Corner intersection”, at Daniel Boone Inn. WataugaOnline will follow up with Boone Police on Tuesday to get more information.
