FRIDAY…

* WHAT…Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations of five
hundredths to one tenth of an inch. A dusting of snow could also
occur, particularly if precipitation develops early in the
morning.

* WHERE…Avery County.

* WHEN…From 7 AM to 7 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Difficult travel conditions are possible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Winter Weather Advisory for freezing rain means that periods of
freezing rain or freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties.
Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving.
