A Wind Advisory, from the National Weather Service, remains in effect for Watauga County until 7pm tonight.

Wind chill values below zero will continue for the rest of today through Thursday morning. Forecast highs are only expected to reach the 20s today, teens tonight and lower 30s on Thursday.

Temperatures are forecast to bounce into the upper 40s for Friday with a chance of rain.
