Weekend Weather Outlook April 13-15, 2018: Spring Like Temps, Hazardous Weather, Back To Winter

Last Updated on April 12, 2018 7:22 pm

As the High Country eagerly awaits Spring temperatures to stay in the area, the wait will go on for a bit longer.

This weekend will bring a mix bag of weather to the area, nearly combining all four seasons in one weekend. Friday will bring more sunshine and high temperatures around 70, but just like Wednesday and Thursday, gutsy winds will be up to 25 mph.

Saturday will start to see a shift in the weather, with partly sunny skies and a  20 percent chance of showers. Highs in the upper 60s, south winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

Hazardous weather conditions are most likely on Sunday with high winds, thunderstorms and locally heavy rainfall in the afternoon. Rain chances at 100%.

And then winter returns, with a chance of snow showers on Monday morning and much cooler temperatures. Highs on Monday are only expected to be in the mid 40s.
