7:39am – patches of ice behind walmart on Meadowbrook Lane
7:33am – Aho road very slick
7:30am – 321 all clear from Lenoir to Boone and 421 from Vilas to Boone is just wet
7:30am – facebook report that HWY 194 in Todd area in Ashe slick as glass
7:28am – facebook report that Big Hill Road and Meat Camp Road is slick with ice
7:22am – Sleeting this morning on Hattie Hill
7am – via twitter “there is some snow on the roads in town, but nothing too bad. Parking lots are definitely slick though”
6:39am – George's Gap has a few slippery spots, esp. at the top, but is passable if you must go out.
6:37am – slick over in upper beaver dam, and out to 421(Bulldog Rd) then kinda patchy from there
6:31am – road reports are coming in slow this morning, which is an indication that most of the roads are ok
6am – Poplar Grove south is ice
5:50am – light snow blowing around, icy patches on a few of the back roads in Boone.No 4WD required yet
Meat Camp Road reported slick
